Barn Preservation Funding
- From time to time, a community or an organization acquires a barn, would like to save it, but isn’t certain where or how to start. Are grants available? What steps should be taken and in what order? What have others done who have been successful? I can assist in researching financial support and share creative ideas that lead to successful outcomes.
Barn Matchmaker
- People are increasingly looking to find property that has a barn, looking to move a barn to their property, or seeking to have a barn removed so that it can be rebuilt elsewhere or at minimum, salvaged from. I can help be a matchmaker.
Barn Documentation
- Now and then someone asks– How do I go about writing about my barn’s history? Where do I begin? Or -- I’ve written something but I don’t know if it’s any good…. I can review your manuscript or help you put something together.

- Need a speaker for a meeting of your group or a conference presenter? There are a variety of themes that may suit your group from technical advice to stories and images intended just to delight. A New Life

For many years after the cattle no longer came inside for morning and evening milking, this barn, not too far from where
I grew up, collected only raccoons and troublesome trees that threatened to destroy its roof and foundation. But on a trip
"back home" a couple of years ago, it was a treat to discover that it had been rescued and is enjoying new life!
